One Tree Hill has become one of the most watched tv shows out there and as Season 6 develops, its hard not to think about the future of the series. I did a little research and there’s some good news and some bad news.

The good news first: The creator of One Tree Hill, Mark Schwahn, in a phone interview said he thinks the fans really deserve a seventh season. Now it’s in the hands of CW to let him know if they are interested as well.
The so-so news: The contract for the actors on OTH are going to expire at the end of this season. If the show is to be as good as it is now, we’ll need to cross our fingers that most (if not all!) the actors stay on board for more. Also, at the end of the day, its really up to CW to decide if they want a 7th season.
